Field of Glory - Godendag 2027 Doubles Event

You are cordially invited to participate in the Godendag doubles competition on 16/17th January 2027.

The event will take place at Firestorm Games Cardiff

This will be a variable points competition. Armies can be 900, 1000 and 1100 points. You must use the 900pt and 1100 pt armies once and the 1000 pt army twice. Owain Simpson is the List checker. Games will be played on a 6x4 table (approximately). Four games will be played, timings are:


Saturday:
09:30 - 13:00
14:00 - 17:30

Sunday:
09:00 - 12:30
13:00 - 16:30

  • Later Minoan or Early Meycenaean
  • New Kingdom Egyptian
  • Syro Canaanite
  • Later Sumerian

All armies must field a minimum of 2 BGs of Chariots or Scythed chariots. No more than 32 bases of HF and/or 24 base of Armoured Foot are allowed.

Refunds will be subject to a £5 administration fee.

Any request for a refund two weeks or less before the event will only be possible if there is a reserve list of players who can take up any refunded ticket and at the express permission of the Tournament Organisers.

Any request for a Refund must be made before the event starts. No refunds are possible once an event has begun.

Your choice of hot lunch will be provided by our on site Cafe facility.

Vouchers for lunch will be issued during registration.

For larger events our on site Cafe facility may be open selling breakfast rolls until 10.30 am.

No external food or drink is allowed in The South Wales Gaming Centre.
