Join us for The Winter Cup 2026!

 

This years Winter Cup will be a little different than previous events with the main event being a Team Sealed event.

Perfect for new players to try this fantastic system.

 

The Main Event Team Ticket allows access to the following:

One team of three players to participate in the Saturday Team Sealed Main Event.

Only the Team Captain's SE User name is required

Players do not need to bring decks/deck lists as this event is sealed however each player will need other necessary game equipment such as counters/dice.

The process for registering your sealed pool and Team Sealed Deck building will be explained on the day.

If you have purchased a team ticket, only the captain will need to register.

If you have purchased a solo ticket, we would ask you to sit in the designated area whilst we wait for players to arrive with which we can match you. Once we have found you a team, we will ask you to nominate a captain who will register your team into the tournament.  

 

 

Rounds/Top Cut/BO1 or 3 will be decided based on total number of tickets sold.

Schedule:

Saturday – Team Sealed Main Event Swiss

08:30 -09:15 - Registration

09:30 -10:45 - Deckbuilding

11:00 - Round 1 Starts

Sunday – Team Sealed Main Event Cut

All players participating in the Main Event Cut must be at the venue no later than 09:30am on Sunday morning. We will aim to start the cut ASAP after this. The cut will be played at BO3.

 

Participation:

Each team will receive a pool of 27 boosters with which to build their decks

Each team will receive 3 Winter Cup Playmats

Upon completion of Day 1 each team will receive a bonus participation prize TBA

1st place:  3 x Legacy Collection Full Foil Set.

Prize Station:

Through the Prize Station, you can customize your personal prize package simply by participating in events during the Winter Cup. You'll be given prize tickets throughout the event for playing/winning games. These can then be redeemed at the prize station allowing you to choose the prizes that best suit you!

Prizes may include current/old booster packs, promo cards, dice, full sets from across the games history including some in foil and merchandise items.

The Raffle:

On Sunday, after both the Main Event Day 2 and the Solo Standard Side Event have concluded, we will be running a raffle. Usually this includes boosters, promo cards, merchandise items etc… confirmed prizes for this raffle include:

Firestorm Games Cardiff will be serving food from their excellent in house café, they also have a selection of soft/alcoholic drinks and snacks on site. Please do not bring outside food or drinks into the venue.

Snacks and drinks will not be permitted on the gaming tables whilst a round is underway – this applies even if you have finished your game.
