Painting the Necromunda Goliath models

After finishing the House Esher gang for our Necromunda demo table our resident house painter Morgan Bird has now turned his attention to the Goliath miniatures in the Necromunda boxed set. Here is his pictorial guide on painting Goliath models.

After assembling and priming black the first base colours are painted on. Mephiston Red, plenty of Leadbelcher, and Eshin Grey for boots and trousers. Eshin Grey is great for painting black as its more of a charcoal so can still show shading for increased depth.

A gaggle of Goliath's gathering for a good wash.

Goliath post Agrax Earthshade wash. All the colours need brightening back up and flesh tone added

Cleaned up the reds and silvers. Highlight the edge silver with Stormhost Silver then add Bugmans Glow on the skin ready for a wash.

Some alternative skin colours should help diversify the gang. Rhinox Hide with Nuln wash over gives a very dark skin tone.

All tidied up, highlights done on leather, skin, armour, boots etc. Just time to finish the eyes and hair.

Hair and eyes finished, inspired by a 90's film classic Demolition Man.
